About GT Fitness UK

GT Fitness UK is a health and fitness company founded by Georgie Tweddle, a CIMSPA-accredited Personal Trainer. Based in Weybridge, Surrey, Georgie has a passion for fitness and aims to motivate and inspire clients to feel their very best. Sessions with Georgie are rewarding, challenging, and most of all - fun! She aims to spread her enthusiasm for fitness to all, and no two sessions are ever the same.

 
 
Following three successful marathons, I developed a hip injury - most likely due to the way I was training. I didn’t understand the value of strength training and how it could improve not only my muscle tone and body shape, but my running. A love of strength and conditioning training was born, and since then I’ve gone from... strength to strength?! I am now injury free and look to teach my clients the same important values of not neglecting any area of their fitness; be that to help achieve a particular sporting goal, or to make everyday life easier and more enjoyable.

Qualifications

Georgie is a Level 3 Personal Trainer, having trained at Premier Global, one of the UK's leading academies (whose former graduates include 'The Body Coach' Joe Wicks). 

Georgie also has specialist qualifications in the following: 

  • Circuits Instructor

  • Kettlebells Instructor 

  • BOXERCISE INSTRUCTOR

  • Women's Fitness (Pre and post natal; older women; teen girls) 

  • Nutritional Advisor

  • First Aid

Experience

With a lifetime of love for fitness and sport behind her, Georgie made the move to professional fitness. A former marathon runner and event rider, Georgie has a particular interest in ensuring both runners and horse riders are strong, supple and fit in order to enjoy their chosen sport fully - and get results.

GT Fitness UK offers a number of flexible packages and sessions, which can be tailored to fit in with your lifestyle. A fully mobile service, GT Fitness UK can come to you; train you outside; or in our small, private studio in Weybridge (one-to-one clients only).

Personal Training
One-to-one, personal training sessions tailored to your training needs

At our small, private studio; your home; or outdoors in the local area, sessions can take place at times and locations to suit you and offer the ultimate in bespoke training to help you exceed your goals. Every new client receives a free consultation, with nutritional advice, postural assessment and a 'lifestyle check' to ensure you're in the best possible place to start on the road to achieving your goals. 

£40/session (or £360 for 10)

Small Group Training
Bring a group of supportive friends, your partner, or your workout crew for a group session of up to 4 people

Offering a similar level of service to our one-to-one sessions, small group training sessions are varied and designed to help you achieve your goals, in a social environment . Sessions can take place indoors or outdoors, weather and preference dependent.

BootcamP
Motivational and challenging group training for all fitness levels, in a supportive, fun environment.

Bootcamps combine cardio, strength training and boxing to improve muscle tone and muscular strength, cardiovascular fitness, weight loss, core strength and balance. The sessions provide full body workouts that will make you sweat, incorporating a range of exercises to work you hard and give you that all important endorphin rush!

9.00 - 10.00am every Saturday, Churchfield Recreational Ground, Weybridge

RUNning training
Need some help 'getting out there'? Whether you're new to running and need the support of an experienced runner to show you the ropes, or whether you're training for a marathon - we can help!

Combining intervals, tempo, hill or distance runs, we can accompany and train you to go further, faster and longer - or simply to develop a love of running in the great outdoors! Coached sessions are available at times to suit you. Our routes vary, but we find the Thames towpath the best playground there is.

EQUESTRIAN-SPECIFIC TRAINING
One-to-one Personal Training, small group training and 'rider bootcamps'

If you and friends who ride / compete would like a private group 'bootcamp' session at your yard or home, get in touch to discuss. Georgie travels to yards around Surrey and is happy to discuss your requirements for regular sessions. For both professional and leisure riders, sessions are designed to focus on the areas of fitness most important for all riders; most notably muscular endurance, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, balance and core strength.

VIRTUAL TRAINING
A tailor made training program bespoke to you, at your fingertips

There is plenty of online advice available, but if you want something tailored to you but can't fit in face-to-face sessions, we have a solution. Our virtual package includes an initial consultation, face-to-face or via Skype or phone (dependent on location); and tailored weekly program setting with review and adaptation at the end of each month. The package includes unlimited virtual support at any point in the process to help you stay on track, and nutritional advice to encourage positive, long-term lifestyle changes rather than a 'quick fix'.
